In the provided facilities by the Vermont Hollywood Gurudwara, one of the most important and significant facility is the “AKhand Path” in many ceremonies. Akhand Path means uninterrupted reading and it is a nonstop and continuous recital of the holy book of Sikhs Guru Granth Sahib– from the beginning to end. There is a mandatory rule, that recital will go on incessantly and must be completed within 48 hours. On certain occasions and situations, it is considered to be the most virtuous activity.
It is also a recitation of Guru Granth Sahib, but it doesn’t have any fixed time to finish it. An individual person or group of persons used to read them according to their time schedule and convenience.
Sukhmani Saheb Path
The word Sukhmani is rendered to the language English as the “consoler of mind”. Sukhmani or titled as Gauri Sukhmani, is found in Guru Granth Sahib after the musical measure of Gauri. It was a lengthy composition and composed by the Guru Arjan. It is included in their daily regimen of players. If the entire poem has been translated into the English language, then the most preferred title would be the “Pslam of Peace” or “Song of peace”.

Wedding or Anand Karaj
Anand Karaj is considered to be the prescribed form of marriage according to the Sikh Religion. The Sikh marriage is very special and awesome ceremonies where two individual souls are get united in perfect unison. It is a joyous and very much family oriented and informal occasion, it is to be arranged in the format of introduction, but the final decision is left upon to the boy or girl. If both of the girl and boy professed Sikh thoughts, they can join in wedlock by the ceremony called Anand Karaj. Morning (Mon-Sat) Program
The morning program starts with Naam Simran from 4.00 am to 4:45 am. After that, from 4:45 am to 5:00 am is the time for Prakash Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Next, the Sukhmani Sahib Path is seen to continue from the 5.15am to 6.15am. Panj Bajiya Nit Nem comes after it, in the time span of 6.15 to 6.45am. 6.45-7.15 am is the time for Kirtan Asa Di Var. From 7 am to 7.30 am is the time for Hukum Nama and Katha. The last program for the morning schedule is Adras and Hukum Nam which starts at 7.45 am.
Evening (Mon-Sat) Program
Just like morning time, the Gurudwara have their schedule for the evening time also. The evening prayer starts with the Sodar Rehras from 6.00 pm to 6.30 pm. Ardas and Hukumnama come to start afterward in the schedule of 6.30 to 7.15 pm. 7.15 to 7.45 is the time for Arti and Kirtan. Next, the evening session of Ardas and Hukumnama follows from 8.45 to 9.15 pm. Ardas and Samapti generally start at 9.15 pm.
For the days of Sunday, there are some changes in the daily schedule of their praying and it follows:

All are same but little changes have been added to the schedule of Sundays.
Apart from the daily schedule, you would also notice special Arambh Shiri Akanth path on every Friday at 9.00 am. Apart from the daily and general schedules, maximum of time special events have been Organized to meet with the expectations of the maximum number of devotees.
